ah ya i remember the day I got my s2000 4 years ago, I at the time was looking for a S2000 for a friend of mine and at the time I had a 350z with over 25k miles and when they first came out. Well one day I saw a 4000 mile 03 in the paper in the next town. So I decided to check out the car for my friend. On the way there a big piece of metal block falls of a semi truck and puts a big hole in my front bumper of the Z. Well I still head down to the dealer to check out the car for my friend. Long story short the dealer offered me a straight trade for my just freshly banged up Z for the nearly new s2000 no more money out of me one bit. So needless to say I took the deal and my friend got mad at me for a few months on that one lol. However 4 years later I still have my S and funny enough my friend just finally leased an 08 just last week. We joke about that incident all the time now and I thank him for making me help me find a good S oops I meant to say him.

 

yep...been on there for 4 years...have an old school 1996 3.2TL with 162k miles that runs like a champ! but I digresss.......lots of great reads on here!

 

I had an MG midget when I was first out of college. I loved that car, but my hubby wanted more power and prestige so we traded it in on a Jaguar XKE 12 cyl. convertible. Nice car, but not as fun as the MG.

20 years of hauling kids, band instruments, track equipment, baseball and soccer gear came to an end when my last kid was a senior in high school. I could finally give the practical car to a kid and buy a MG midget replacement.

I test drove miata, 350Z and the mini cooper. I was looking at used boxsters or BMW Z3's, when my son ( the high school senior) convinced me to check out the S. I test drove it and bought it the same day. I just love the way it handles!

I've had it 3 years now and love it more than ever.
