OEM intake vs aftermarket cold air

If you don't want to cut your hood = Spoon cold air duct w/ stock box
If you want to cut your hood = J's Tsufsdjkajlkfyko intake or Mugen

Or for the best intake all around that involves lots of cutting and custom work = ITBs

I have tried a couple of different set-ups and to this day my favorite and current set-up is a factory box with the divider panel cut out, the inside smoothed out, the resonator blocked off and lined with heat shielding. Then I put a AUT carbon fiber cooling plate with another home fabbed plate under it to act as a scoop and block the heat from the radiator.
