OEM intake vs aftermarket cold air

If you don't want to cut your hood = Spoon cold air duct w/ stock box
If you want to cut your hood = J's Tsufsdjkajlkfyko intake or Mugen
Or for the best intake all around that involves lots of cutting and custom work = ITBs

lol, just reading this post I thought the AEM with the Exhaust made 10 extra rwhp, but without any before dyno's it's hard to say what made the extra power. Could be that the engine was out of tune in the first place
I do believe that most S2K's produce between 196-207 rwhp bone stock.

I have tried a couple of different set-ups and to this day my favorite and current set-up is a factory box with the divider panel cut out, the inside smoothed out, the resonator blocked off and lined with heat shielding. Then I put a AUT carbon fiber cooling plate with another home fabbed plate under it to act as a scoop and block the heat from the radiator.
