-Official- Is this car worth it thread
Ok, I found this 2003 s2k with 37k miles at a dealership for 14k. I found this car on auto trader and I contacted the dealer with a request for pictures and more information. Google reviews are favorable for this dealership so, it might be worth dealing with them. At a glance this seems like a good deal and I would go to check it out, but it is a 3 hour from Plano TX. to Houston.
What do you guys think?

Well, I don't know anything about the car besides its year and mileage. It could be a total scam or a salvage or something. I guess this post is pointless until I can tell you guys more about the car. Thanks for the reply though.

I'm in Houston; what dealer is selling the car?

They seem to be rated positively on Google.
I would rather get a car from a private seller that cared about the car than a dealership, but considering their reviews, I might be willing to deal with them.
Also, Happy Holidays Every one
Thats kind of high miles er kilometers. I don't quite know what the exchange rate is exactly, so I dont know if that is a good deal or not.
The thing that I would watch out for is the year. A 02-03 might be a better year to go for because of the glass rear window.
The longer you wait, the more money you might have to buy the car you want. Good luck.

Dollar's almost even right now.
So basically 130,000 miles for 9000. Clean title etc.

I once found a 2001 GPW with 53k miles for $9600. The seller was the second owner, but the car was in really good condition. That is my benchmark deal. Nothing has come close to that. I don't think It would be worth more than 8500 unless it is in pristine condition.
