-Official- Is this car worth it thread
I don't know if that's too high since I haven't been following S2000 prices. However, for many (myself included) 2003 is the most desirable year for a used S2000. I like AP1's and the newer the better (because the kinks have been worked out, plus I like the glass rear window). If it was stored properly, I would probably pay more for a 2003 than a 2004 or even a 2007 with the same miles.
Hey guys, a local dealer is offering this...
http://www.newcountrylexusoflatham.com/Veh...tails/559271793
He said he would do $15,000...my questions are...
-how much will this depreciate in a year considering an additional 8-10k miles?
-is 15 a great price, or can I do better?
Thanks guys!

I am pretty sure there is a thread for this, but lets give you some answers
15k is a good deal in my mind. Finding another white/tan w/ such low miles is going to be quite difficult if thats what you want. kbb.com is always a good place to visit for market values. Again, this is also what you want to use for figuring depreciation. Good luck!

Diggity dang, $15k is a flippin steal IMO. Back in May I paid $16.5k for my single-owner garage-queen '02 with 4,702 miles and I thought that was a solid deal.
On the depreciation -- I can't see it being that bad with the kind of annual mileage you're considering. You'd still be way under average mileage a year from now. Hell you'd be way under average even after 4 or 5 years. The first owner already ate the worst part of the depreciation curve for you (and only got 7k miles of fun out of it). I'd be shocked if you couldn't sell it for at least $13k a year from now with 17k miles on it. Plus, white/tan seems to be a highly-sought-after color combo around here, which could also help resale value.
I say go for it. Hope this helps and good luck

Jesus Christ! 15k?! There is either something very wrong with this car or you are getting a ****** smoking ass deal! I paid 18k for an '04 with 11k miles 6 months ago. I'd jump on this if I were you.

Could care less that its white with tan, although I do like it. I'm just mainly concerned with depreciation...I'm moving overseas next September and I would like to get rid of it in June/July.
