I was wondering when you would show up on s2ki lol
As per the s2k I would go check it out myself and see why the seats look the way they do. Other than that the car looks good. I'd offer 15k

My seats look that way too. Not that big of a deal. I'd do $15k for the car.

Apparently, you know me, but do I know you?

Update: I just found an '03 GPW with 65k. Now, I'm torn between the two. Here's the ad. Opinions?

Hah, I remember you from PreludePower. Sucks about your Prelude, man.

I would jump on that GPW AP1 over the AP2. Offer them 13,500...and see how that settles with them. I'm a sucker for a tan interior, and especially one that has been taken care of.

You're on the prelude forums. I'm dvtec55 from prelude online. U posted in my thread about my preludes brake problem and I saw that u were looking at getting an s2k to replace the lude.

Serious question any opinions would help.

Just bought an 01' red with 120k miles for 8.5 came with Invidia N1 exhaust and some ugly wheels. Besides the basic new owners maintenance I am doing tomorrow, I was going to drop it on coils, probably the Tein flex or Buddy Clubs (heard they were good), new wheels (I want the BMW style BBS wheels), new top with glass and there are a bunch of rock chips that need to be touched up and a few dings; this can all be done by mid June, so like 3 weeks. So the Question: Should I just drive this around for the summer how it sits and hold off to buy something in September? like an 02 or 03 with lower miles so it has a glass top already, some type of aftermarket upgrade (a hardtop or exhaust, I wouldn't buy one that's already dropped) and maybe the color I really like?

My reason for thinking about this is, I have money already saved and I get another 5k in September so I calculated prices

01' 8.5k + Coils ($1000-1400) + Wheels ($800-1400) + Top ($1000) + Touch Ups ($500-1000) That's around $11-13K. I have found a few 02' with a hardtop and exhaust with around 80k miles for like $12.5k

I know I can resell this at the end of summer for what I bought it for but I am just itching to start "building" this thing and I don't want to build something and see the exact car with 40kkk less miles and same basic upgrades for sale that I could have probably spent less money on

Here's a picture, people in Orlando probably saw it on CL

I've just bought a 2000 AP1:
  • Silverstone grey
  • 66,000 miles.
  • No bumps or scratches - clean body apart from a few stone chips!
  • Completely standard
  • No curbing on rims, good tyres etc.

Got it for 5.2k (£)

I felt it was worth more than that.

Any thoughts?

found an '02 white/red w/ 60k miles. wondering if $16k is too much? The car looks very clean, but no vin sticker on the front bumper and passenger fender. this indicates to me that the car was in some low speed impact since the door and hood are still original.
