What I (or anyone else) would or wouldn't buy is irrelevant. You need to determine your criteria.

you have made 3 separate threads about the same damn thing...
No not really. One is about reliability. This is would you buy one without a hardtop lol.
There's still no need to post a new thread each time you're asking a question. Consolidate them into one thread.

Offer 3k less then what it's "worth", not what he's asking. He's asking too much.

^^^This. OP if you already aren't well versed in it...you might want to learn how to deal with stealerships.

...and no, I would never buy a CR w/o a hardtop. They need to order one and put it on the car.

I woudn't be against buying a CR at a discount without a HT, because then you can add a soft top for half the cost of a HT, gain the added usability and fun, and have a CR.

Seems to much to not have a hardtop. Get it for less or pass there will always be another.

Agreed. That's a bit too much without a top. I'd see if they'd come down in price or order a hardtop.
I used to live up in Portland in a past life. I know Seattle is no better when it comes to the weather. I can't imagine a CR with no roof most of the year up there in the great Pacific NW.

unless he's willing to put the soft top up and down manually? i can't really see a soft top installed on a cr... sounds impossible with all the top mechanisms, wirings and stuff?

I thought the cross brace precluded normal soft top usage.

Is it missing any other CR exclusive parts?
