the point is, would / will you be satisfied with it at 13k, buy the car, none of us are paying for it... if you can't make that decision on your own, then don't... cause you may never be satisfied an we'd all be to blame..

all the parts are some many will buy, yes, new, they would cost you more then 4k difference tween 9k an 13k..it has 143k miles on it, your not going to be putting less, subtracting any.. it's a 13 yr old car... do not buy it if you aren't going to make a commitment, you'll only be dis-satisfied...

and.. there are others that may come with more or most likely less extra fun parts... could be cheaper then the total 13k.. or even the 10.5k.. but will you say to yourself, that one, was the one that got away.. all tough questions...hope you enjoy your quest.. good hunting...

Haha, I can make the decision I was merely looking for advice. This will be my first s2k and I don't want to start off over paying. More or less my question was, would y'all pay that, or do you think it's fair?

Make him an offer w/o the parts. He knows he can sell them on his own. Get what you want, not what he wants.

I will put it this way, if I were the owner, I would not sell that car with those mods for less than $13k. So I think $13k is fair.

Hey guys. I'm looking at a yellow S2k. It's a 2007 Model. All stock besides AZA black wheels, and a hood scoop which looks like I can remove it. It has 24k miles and it's CLEAN. Dealership is wanting 24.5k out the door. One owner, no accidents, all maintenance records. Am I looking at a fair price?

No stock wheels and a hood scoop is an easy tool to get them lower. Depending on paint quality, soft top, and interior , if near mint or at least above average id shoot for $21-$23 OTD.

$24.5 is crazy since you gotta add another $2-$3k in stealerships fees and tag n title n taxes

Might be better off checking out members cars for sale over a dealership. Don't rush it n get the one you love.

I don't have to add another 2-3k though. It's out the door. As in tax, tag, and doc fee. I did seem to find a 08 model with 42k miles, one owner for 21.5k. It's a private seller though, so I'm a little leery.

ah i misread about the $24.5k. either way i would ask for $21-$22k OTD since no stocks and scoop. And for the private seller just check out the car and drive it and do the same inspection as you would if you went to the dealership. Believe me dealerships dont care about the car. A purchase from another enthusiast would be beneficial. Just my opinion. Good Luck

All good man. I appreciate it. I sent a message to the private party. We'll see if he gets back to me.

Hey guys! Saw this on carmax.com:

http://www.carmax.com/enus/view-car/...results%20page

After reviewing the autocheck report, it looks like the car hasn't really been driven since late October 2012. My question is, should I worry that it hasn't really been driven for almost 2 years? And should I pass on this car?

Thanks in advance for the advice.
