There is a 2006 with 56,000 miles for sale locally with a rebuilt title. The owner replaced the top about a year ago, has kept the maintenance up to date, and overall taken very good care of the car. However, he hit a deer about ago and had to have the bumper, hood, fender, and mirror replaced. The work was done at a body shop with OEM parts. Assuming there is no frame damage, do you think that this is a car that I should give serious consideration to or should I keep looking. He is asking $16,000 for it.

2005 Suzuka Blue with 121k miles, clean title, 3 previous owners. Clean interior and body. It is at a dealer and i've been watching it for a little while, it's dropped to 11k. Assuming i negotiate a bit, is this a good deal?

To follow up on the white s2000 I found, you can see me asking about it in the past few pages. So a member (white on tan) checked it out for me since he lives in palm springs ( thanks again) and he said it was a near perfect condition, everything checked out according to him.

So I go ahead and text the guy and I bring up that I want to do a 150 point inspection prior to buying the car . And the guy was so hesitant on doing this. Asking me why and what dealerships. and who would be doing it and they better not joy ride it?! He also mentioned doing the inspection after I buy the car and that he was too busy!? Finally he said his wife said its too much of a hassle and he is going to sell it to his son's friend. Wow lol.. very weird

Definitely weird. Not much of a hassle if it's the last step in selling a car to a serious buyer. Most likely, there is something he is hiding, or at least concerned about.

The ad mentioned above was deleted by the seller but he posted another one a couple of days ago with a slightly reduced price: http://orangecounty....4652434959.html

So I wouldn't put much stock in the story about selling it to his son's friend.

Stay away from this one, you'll find something better.

Hey guys, I might be getting this car tomorrow (if it checks out) so please someone chime in pretty quick!

It's a 2002 Suzuka Blue Ap1.
-100k miles
-06 s2000 transmission put in 32k miles ago (he's a master mechanic)
-ap2 v1 wheels
-koni shocks
-Tanabe exhaust-
-berk hi flow cat
It's pretty clean overall, good glass top, a little door ding, has that s2000 leather bolster wear most of the cars have.

Listed for $13,5000 I think I can get it for $12,300. So is it a good deal? If so I'll most likely jump on it tomorrow.

Price check please. MY00 SSM with 90k miles, real Mugen HT, HKS duals, Rota's, and Spoon CF intake. The bad: plastic soft top, quite a few rock chips/dings. I'm not a huge fan of SSM (way too common around here), but I can't seem to find anything not beat to hell around here near MI. Is $9400 offer reasonable?

Hey whats up guys, I'm new to the boards, I'm a DSM guy and as we all know... the DSM spends more time sitting than it does on the road lol So I'm venturing into the darkside here and looking for a more reliable DD with a little kick to it found this

http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/4662498910.html

I'm not trying to make this car a monster , My eclipse is the track car I need something reliable daily, I know close to stock is the best for reliability but I'm a junkie for boost and for the price its hard to pass up. I'm a little concerned that its been driven to shit but he says he only has 550cc injectors in it , on my dsm that only got me to about 350hp so it doesn't sound like its been beat on too bad. Any thoughts?

I would say that is priced very low. Provided it is clean jump on it.

Thanks for the reply. History shows 2 owners and no accidents so I guess it's time to make the drive even if the color isn't my favorite.

Also, for anyone who needs a VIN run, I still have free reports (for now) so PM me the VIN and an email and I'll forward it over.
