You can find some 05 with half those miles for maybe a few thousand more if you look around private party.
'05 with 60k for 15 is a Needle in a haystack. Possible but unlikely. And would sell within hours. Next time that deal comes up, I'll take it. Cash ready.

Well true, but there are better deals to be found if you wait a bit.

Hi Red, how can you tell that the tires are shit?
he is probably referring to the tread pattern. they look like cheap all-season tires. in general these are not appropriate for a sports car...especially in socal...
beat me to it...thanks.

I came across this s2000 near me at carmax for 21k, w/ 53k miles. Looks to be in good condition but ive been looking around for the last few days and im not 100% sure if its a great deal or not ( especially since I cant haggle at carmax and it seems a bit high ) so I would appreciate some input on what you guys think of the price? Thanks!

I also saw this one which looked a bit more enticing:

Definitely overpriced. For reference I paid 19,500 for my 2005 with only 22k miles on the clock. Keep looking. Check craigslist autotrader daily. That car should be in the $16-18k range at best.

Overpriced. Buying from Carmax is a smooth and painless process plus you can return the car after 7 days, but you'll be paying a premium for that. If you have cash or a means to get a loan buy from a private party and just arrange with the seller to have an inspection done at the shop of your choice.

You will pay a small premium buying the car now that it is summer. Should of bought one in winter when there is less demand. You should be able to haggle them down, but not as much as you would have been able to months ago.

Hahah you will not be bringing that back. You will park it in your garage and it will be game over. It looks good. You will enjoy it
