Depends on area. I'm in CT. That's how much it would go for around here . Never would an ap2 with 38k miles be 18-20k. I would've bought an ap2 if that was the case lol. Dealer prices for my 01 was 18k and that was with 62k on it. I bought mine last yr

How much would any of you pay for a 2002 New Formula Red with ~57,000 miles (clean title). The thing looks pretty darn close to mint. Only 2 owners, first one for the first 40,000 miles, and both owners always kept it garaged otherwise (and it shows).

I'm in California - not sure if that is a huge factor in the price.

I took it for a spin and the interior is virtually immaculate. I can't believe how nicely the leather has held up since 2002. Clutch and gearbox felt natural / healthy and the owner hit vtec in many gears and it seemed healthy (I didn't drive as hard as I should have when I had my chance behind the wheel

The only obvious blemish is the soft top had a small rip which has been patched with a sewn on strip that looks like the size of a deck of cards or maybe a tiny larger.

I want this car badly, haha. An S has been on my wishlist for going on 3 years

How much do you think I should offer? Is KBB / Edmunds / Nada usually above or below what you guys think I should offer? I'm going to have a local mechanic check it out before I make any official offers, but assuming everything is in good/decent condition mechanically... what do you think is fair?

Thanks for any input.

Uhm, how about this one:

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/4953397928.html

Pros: "New Porsche 911 Paint Job"

Cons: "Needs Engine"

114,000 miles, asking $25000...

Well, it does have the word "Prosche" and "911" in the listing, so it must be worth it. Guess, I need to remember to make reference to Porsche 911 in my next car ad and at least double the asking price.

I've been on the hunt for a S2000 for a few months now as it's just starting to warm up here in Canada. Although this car caught my eye immediately, I can't help but think the asking price is a little high and need some second opinions.

Sounds like a good deal, unless you are all OEM kind of guy. 06+ and Laguna Blue, many would kill for this specification...and then the authentic JDM parts.

But then it comes to the condition now, any pics?

Hi everyone, so I just checked my join date and apparently I've been looking for a s2000 for about a year at this point.

I think I may have finally found the one.

'02 NFR with 48k, 2nd owner, garage kept but there is a quarter sized tear in the top and 3 small paint blemishes besides the normal road rash. Interior is decent for age, for mileage I would have expected it a bit cleaner.

The owner just replaced the battery last week, it had died over the winter. Should I be concerned at all this would have cleared any CEL codes?

Stock except for intake, he has stock intake also. I am taking it out and having my mechanic look it over Thursday.

He is asking 15k and seems firm. Just want to make sure my year long search isn't biasing me on value.
