-Official- Is this car worth it thread - vol. 2
Do you think this is worth it? Slightly high mileage but seems kosher based on the description. Been resprayed in white, which is very desirable as far as I'm concerned! Emailed the seller with usual questions, currently awaiting reply.

Hello All,
I have been looking at this one but would like the forums opinion on it. I went to check the car out last weekend and I liked the car, I printed out the sticky about what to look at when looking at a used s2000 and the car did well. It drove nicely, transmission was good, shifted smoothly, engine was responsive, oil looked clean, overall a clean car that seemed to have been taken car of. There were some issues with the car and that is where I would like some guidance, I will post pics of the issues I have found, The top had two holes, one was patched while the other one wasn't. The front bumper was replaced or repainted, owner didnt know why but she only owned the car for a year and a half, but you can see that it was a different shade of yellow and didnt line up properly with the fenders. There was a tear in the drivers seat but that is common with old cars, but other than that the interior was clean. Now the engine looked clean but it did have an aftermarket intake and the intake manifold had writing on it as if it were from a junkyard. Then there were a bunch of wires running to a ground point near the radiator support that looked iffy to me so I thought I'd ask if that looked normal. So other than those things the body had a few chips in the paint but overall in good shape. I still am planning to take it to a local shop to do an inspection on it, do a compression test and check the retainers under valve cover, if I decide to go further with this deal.So what do you guys think?
