Well guys i guess this will be my pre-intro to the forums for AFK-S2K.

ive been looking at this car for a week now. seen it in person the other day and it has a few scratches and a front bumper blemish that was "fixed" with touch up paint (not visible in the pics).

the interior is really nice except the chrome piece near the shifter has a corroded look to it. the owner said the oil is due for a change, which i checked and look good, nothing un-ordinary. it has brand new S drive tires on the rear with decent tires up front of a different brand (if forget but i think michilin).

the wheels have minor scuffing and slight rash.

the car drove great. the top was in great shape with no signs of wear besides scuffing and scratches on the window. the owner still has a lien on the car, BTW.

I think 14 is a little high but somebody will but it at the price. Its not totally unreasonable. I don't like dealing with paying off somebody else's loan, but thats up to you.

 

this is just about my exact thoughts. maybe he will come down but he seems kinda firm.

 

That's way too much. I know cars (and other things...) are a little more expensive in California and I was still able to get mine for $15k. My 03 GPW had 62k miles on it when I bought...$24k is way too high.

I'm going to be looking at a 2001 ap1 with 88,000 miles on the car. It looks to be in very good condition in pictures I have been sent. All matching vins, and the car isn't modded. KBB put it at about 15k. What would you guys pay.

you are too tall. my friend who is about 6'3 barely fits in my ap2. I'd also never buy a used turbo s2000.

 

i wouldnt touch that s2000, sounds like its been butt raped......i wouldnt get the vette either, keep lookin!
