i think that’s a smoking deal for a ‘08. Let alone with red interior too!

is this in autotrader Phoenix?

seller says front bumper has been painted
due to rock chips. I am afraid it was more that rock chips given it only has 44k miles. I will pass and continue my search.

Are you passing just because the front bumper has been repainted? It says it has all matching VIN's. These can acquire a lot of rock chips in 44k. I think it looks really nice and fairly well priced.

Depends on where you are driving and what the owner's tolerance for rock chips actually is. If it were me, my tolerance is very low and chances are the owner of this car feels the same based on the overall condition of the car. I wouldn't disqualify the car just for that.

If the VIN is intact, I wouldn't worry too much on a bumper repaint. If takes very little damage to need to replace the bumper, and they are cheap enough that going through painstaking patch/fill/repair isn't worth it. If the tag is intact, changes of it being from an accident are slim.

Mine has 118K on it now, and the front bumper, particularly the lower lip, is all shredded to hell. It takes a lot of abuse, and while mine has all 10 VIN tags in place, I'll probably have it repainted this year to clean it up. If the tag is there, repaint (provided it looks good) wouldn't scare me away.

I'd get it if I were you. Repaint due to rock chips isn't a deal breaker. It just shows that the seller cared about the car's appearance.

So it was the painted bumper and the maintainence records. Then I asked him about if he has done any maintainence such as valve adjustment and he said “it doesn’t need it”. So I got skeptical about the upkeep of the car compared to the fine examples I see on the for sale forums on this site.
