where is the car listed?

If the red really isn't doing it for you then you might as well hold off. If you're on the fence you could always try offering less. Just because some people are escalating their asking prices it doesn't mean that they're actually getting that much for their cars when all is said and done. If you pass there will be other S2000's that will come along.

Ok friends, I found another 2008 silver/red with much lower miles at 44K being sold by private owner. This one does not have hard top like the other one. Overall condition seems really good. Seller has not done any maintainence except oil change he
reports. Asking price is 22900. I will not pay anything else extra (taxes or dealer fees) given I am in Arizona.

https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/...847278051.html

seller says front bumper has been painted
due to rock chips. I am afraid it was more that rock chips given it only has 44k miles. I will pass and continue my search.

Are you passing just because the front bumper has been repainted? It says it has all matching VIN's. These can acquire a lot of rock chips in 44k. I think it looks really nice and fairly well priced.

Depends on where you are driving and what the owner's tolerance for rock chips actually is. If it were me, my tolerance is very low and chances are the owner of this car feels the same based on the overall condition of the car. I wouldn't disqualify the car just for that.
