That's when your significant other will think you're nuts lol.
Most certainly, but that won't stop us. I want everything Needsmorepower listed, and more.
Depends how OCD you are, can't you go into a junk yard and get parts off of an s2000 that was totaled? Not sure about the tach, or where to get one, but stuff like lights you stock pile from different S2000s and restore them lol.

Parts incur wear over the years that are sometimes not reversible. For example, I'd like to buy a second set of door sills for my car as mine are slightly scored from the previous owners rubbing their shoes against them. Odds are, another S2000 will have the same amount of wear on them or worse, which is why I am keen on buying them new. Quite frankly, I may not even install them until I have an income that allows me to have the car sit and be relegated of its mundane work commuting duty.

I wonder if clear plasti-dip would work for something like this. Protect the surface, sacrificing itself as things scuff against the sill. When it gets too ratty, peel off and reapply.

Thoughts?

Eh, why not. If you get a glossy layer forgot what it was called.
But it can look nice if done properly. TubesOfYou

Came from a E36 M3. Left it when I found out that OE axles were no longer to be had. All aftermarket was chinese junk. I had to replace a axle with a junk yard pull. I'm not worried about S2000's aging, because if it's every a problem I'll just get rid of the car. There will always be people wanting these, until we can fly.

That's actually a clever idea, and may work. I'll have to try that on my scratched up sills to see how they turn out.

I have a push button start - it's factory fit
And bluetooth in mine - came with the stereo
Heated seats - fitted by me.

What more do you need in equipment? Not like you need reversing sensors!

I have family with modern BMWs etc and with all their sensors and electronics, no DIY can be done at home and everything costs a hell of a lot more than the s2000 to fix. For example, my brother's remote key stopped working on his 530d - Best part of over $1000 later to fix it... How much is a new key for the s2000?

Well..... One might want heated steering wheels like my allroad lol.
Or a mirror that moves downward when you're in reverse to see the parking line. Lol.

I own a 00.
Bought it in 2002 with 5k miles
I will until it wont be possible
I really dont see that comming anytime soon !!!

I like to see that even if it is discontinued , there is still company who put time and effort to come out with better / new product.

If some people are looking for something in 15 years well ... I just might have it.

LOL

Cheers to all you S2k FANS
