Default remote door fob not working

happened once before- took it to the dealer not long after i first got the car. i keep my hat under the seat and the mechanic told me that i had disconnected a wire.
i looked under there this time and can not figure out how it is wired or what is loose.
anyone had this problem?
what do i look for?

(btw, yes i have replaced the batteries in the keys- so it is likely a loose wire somewhere)

somebody help this wacko!!

wanabe i found this on jpmaccessories' website under the installations section
http://www.jpmaccessories.com/JPM%20Center...n%20MY00&01.pdf

it explains on the first page how to remove the seats, and shows pictures of the alarm wires you may have accidently disconnected. maybe?

I just went through this same problem and it turned out to be a problem with the battery.

Here is the thread discussing my problem:

You could have just turned it off on accident. If you look underneath, there is a little button (I have an 07, not sure if it different for you) and you press it. If it's solid in my car, no noise when i lock and unlock, flashing means it beeps, and no light=off.

no- got deep in it with good lighting. was able to see and feel all connections.
couldnt really tell what more i would get by pulling the seat.
guess i should try it, since thats about all i havent done.

also have not checked the fuses- no idea why they would blow, but maybe that is also in the next step...

was wondering how to take the unit off of the seat bottom- anyone know how to do that?
