Repairing tiny chips in windshield???
Following this Saturday's New England meet on the Cape (some nice pics posted here under Meets and Events, by the way), I discovered the hard way that one must leave a lot more distance between cars when following another stook. Because of the sticky S-02's, my windshield now has a whole bunch of tiny chips in it (either there were too many to count, or I was just afraid to count them all). The roads the group was driving on were sandy in spots. Anyways, does anyone know if there is a way to repair the chips? Is there a product available which I can buy and apply myself? If not, since I dont want to have the windshield replaced (even though it is insured), I will just live with it.
TIA

my s2000 has a billion+ chips too.
Honda rep indicated it was due to the angle of the windshield, and the low heighth of the car, and declined a factory fix.
I have debated about getting mine switched, but i don't want to pay just yet. when it becomes a white cloudy color, i will replace it.

I'm not sure if they have a Pep Boys in your area, but any auto parts store will have some sort of windshield repair kit. They're about $7. I bought one to fix a chip I have in my other car's windshield, but haven't used it yet.
You can always get a windshield repair guy to come out and do it. 1Y2KS2K had his windshield repaired for $45. Check out the following link.
