I will be doing SCCA Solo track events. If possible, I will not add anything to the car. However, if I find that I am forced to then I will SERIOUSLY consider the same as Tedster and AutoEX.

Anyone know of a S2K ever being rolled in any track event?

Has anyone come close? I think your chances of rolling are greater on the freeway.

Check out the march issue of car&driver for a
report on the scca road racing t2 s2000.The roll
cage in this car is scca legal for road racing and
was custom built by King Motorsports. This may give you some ideas on how tight things are inside the car with a full cage installed.Hope this will help someone who is thinking
about installing this important saftey device for on
track use.

We order for a member a 4 points roll bar ;it should arrive in 2/3 weeks.
Actually we have 2 coming.
They just sent me also a fax with a new six point roll cage that install with no obstruction to the top.
Cost for the 6 point roll cage is approx $900.00
The four point is $429.00

IF you have a hardtop you don't need a rollbar for SCCA right? Does that include hard top convertibles?

I'd rather put 900$ towards the hardtop. I don't think rolling is a common problem in S2000, but I could be wrong.

I, do not know abot solo or autocrossing but in scca road racing in the showroom stock type classes you are required to have the hard top and a full roll cage. I belive in all scca road racing you are required to have a full roll cage no matter what class you run in.Hope this helps.

The Cusco at $900 (six-point) is pretty good.
The Mugen (six-point FIA approved) cost $1,500

We went with a custom Cro-Mo six point done locally by a chassis shop. Cost $600 and meets FIA and SCCA standards. They are working on it late this week. As soon as we get the car finish will post the pics.
