Default S2k purchase advise

I'm currently looking at a white 2004s2k with a hardtop due to the softtop having rips. Car looks clean inside and out except it has 123k miles. What do you guys think? They want 10k for it, lets say I can get it for 9.3k is that worth it?

if you like it and your willing to work with what it has I don't see why not.. top isn't difficult to replace... hard top is a nice addition... how does it check out with inspections, information / history.. your local mechanic... go for it...

Well my main question is the concern for the high miles. Lets say if they kept it in a good condition, how many more miles can I drive on it before motor going out?

A long long time. There's a handful of people on here with over 200k miles. If it is in good shape you have nothing to worry about.

I trust Honda. My 01 civic still going strong after 235k miles. Not a direct comparison to a S2000 but both are Hondas and as long as the car is maintained on schedule, its reliability is just amazing.
