SR20= Easy and reliable power. Great potential.

13B-REW= Unique, capable of more than decent power, and may even benefit handling.

20B= Very unique and capable of big power, but lacks the handling benefits of the 2-rotor.

LS1= Monster

RB26= Monster import

2JZ= Been there, done that.

BMW I6?

K20= Slower stock for stock, marginally better torque band, marginal potential differences.

I'm only bothered by the fact that you have so many options, yet you choose to go with the one that makes the least sense no matter which way you look at it. I'm all for crazy swaps, but this is similar to swapping the engine from an Integra GSR into a chassis that still has a functioning ITR motor.

Id say its more similar to doing a ls-v-tec, more torque than gsr, but not by much. Im out on the rotory's, not a big fan, but the RB26 im all about finding a car for that swap, thats gonna be sick no question. The reason im doing the K Series is to keep it all Honda, and the weight is the same. After doing the K stock for stock against the F20c, im gonna go k24 bottom end, N/A monster. Perhaps this may be the strongest N/A S2000 (all Honda) ever. Theres been alot of (no fair, its not Honda's engine), so thats why im doin the K series. A 2.4 liter N/A K-series may suprise us all!

so are you doing some kind of V8? doesn't have to be chevy.

what transmission would you use?

someone supposedly put a ford V8 into an S2000 but used a automatic tranny.

Im not doing any V8's at the moment, but do you have any pics or proof that someone did a V8 in the S2k?? Not doubting what your saying, but i would just love to see that! If i did do a V8, it would be an auto t-400 chevy trans, LS1 probably, with a killer stall convertor. I wanna see a S2 do a wheelie !!! The yellow 2JZ S2000 on my website is probably gonna do a wheelie, its automatic as well.

LS1 is the only one I would dump a turboed F20C for. SR is slow, K series isn't worth the money to put in (FTR, I love my K24, but it's nothing in comparison to a boosted F20, the only advantage I see is that you can blow the motor and replace it for less cash), and rotors aren't my thing. If it didn't require the removal of the frame rail, I'd sell my stuff now and do it. I wouldn't do the 2jz swap because of that, and the fact that I don't think it will hook up all that well with street tires. At least not in comparison to some of the 700+whp F20 s2000s dragging now.
