TSB for Clutch just completed...
Doesn't a softer clutch usually mean less performance? From my limited experiences, higher performing cars have always had harder clutches. For instance the clutch pedal in my 93 Prelude is noticably harder than the one in my 95 Civic. I guess I have associated the increased clutch pressure with one that grabs better.
I got my S back from the dealer today. I had the Clutch TSB done.. It feels GRRRRREAT! A huge noticeable difference. No noise anymore..... it sounds like it did when it was new. It grabs much better.
This repair was a good one!

The library tab on the top of the screen has most of the TSB's...

I brought my 2000 S2000 with 25K miles in for TSB 54 and just got a call asking if I want to also replace the throw out bearing, pressure plate, and resurface the flywheel for $450. Does it make sense to do this or are they just trying to make some profit off a warranty repair?
They are going to call me in an hour or 2 when they have the clutch apart and can tell me how much wear there is. What do you guys recommend I do?

BrainS2K: You should have to pay nothing...all those parts should be covered under the repair. I had all my clutch parts replaced and it was all free of charge. By parts, I mean clutch disk, flywheel, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throwout bearing...everything to do with the clutch system.
