Thanks.
What would be the best RPM to lower the vtec engagement to on a 2.2L?

wonder if this would do any good for my 05? do you have any before and after dyno charts? Does this wiring harness eliminate any cuting or splicing during install?
Just curious what would I need to raise my redline (say maybe from 8,200 to 8,400 or 8,450)? I am really interesting in doing this so that I can say in VTEC longer. To me the best part of a VAFC on a 04 and up is lowering the VTEC engagement so that it's easier to say in VTEC when shifting from 1st to 2nd.

you would need an 01 ecu or an aem ems
I just pulled an APEXi VAFC II out of the 04 S I just bought along with a little shift light with the harness. I'll sell it in a heartbeat. Too much electronics for me. It looked cool mounted and everything.

I just bought the car, it was installed under the passenger side dash, tilted towards driver, looked real cool, had a little active graph and a red shift light. No pics sorry. The car is actually still at the mechanic now. He wasnt able to calibrate it right to get rid of a CEL. So, I figured since I dont race it or anything there is really no point keeping that stuff around. I have no ideas about gains since I havent had the car long enough to note them.
I live in Tucson, we have a shortage of performance shops that can calibrate one of these things. I didnt feel like driving to Phoenix to get it done. I just opted for a stock setup. So, its in a box destined for EBay.
