One of the guys on the RSX boards who is a big shot over there (works for Honda...told people about the turbo motor that is in the RDX when the TSX first came out).....he said the S2000, RSX, AND NSX are HEAVILY VTEC'ed from factory. He stated all these cars are flogged for AT LEAST 5 miles before they are shipped off. And before someone say it, no this will not show on your odometer when you get the car. Porsche does this for 100miles per car.

He is also likely 18 and sweeps the floors at a dealer.

No, he has creds. He is an older guy. There are pictures and videos of him driving an AWD turbo TSX, and that video is over a year old. (Its a Honda car, not modified) I have personally seen it. However, it could have just been a test mule for the RDX.

grasshopper... interesting you mentioned that, looking at buying a s2000 through them (found an ad of theirs online), though what you're saying makes me a bit worried
My service advisor was Garrett Liming of the Grey Team. He wasn't interested in addressing my concerns. Previously, he didn't know about the correct size of tire to put on the rears of the MY00-03 when going to a different tire than S-02's, either. (I had to explain that to him). Although, I did have an oil change once there with the Green Team--they forgot my car in the parking lot because the guy driving it forgot to turn in the ticket. But, in contrast to Garrett, the Green Team Leader and his mechanic were very, very apologetic and didn't charge for the oil change and gave me free two quarts of oil that I was getting there.

I wanted to talk to the Service Dept. Manager about their "policy" of test driving every car. But, I gave up on it for the meantime as I have a quick oil change place that I trust now and I have a good friend to do major work. So far, I haven't needed the dealership.

Funny thing about Garrett is that he was praised before on this board. I even called to ask how many S2000's were serviced there before I started taking my car there. I got this guy on the line who sounded like they did a lot and he sounded like he cared about the car. They don't, not like we do. Ah, I just remembered, I was going to try McDavid Acura in the future, if I need a dealership, as they posted an ad on the street that they service Honda's. I figure Acura is used to handling fine cars, so they may be the ones to do the service.

So, get the car from the dealer off the trailer, have them do the prep, and then high tail it out of there. Hey, I heard the Killeen dealership gives good prices just to have fast turnaround, like $2,000 off and then you are on your own, ie, no wasting the salesmen's time in exchange for the better price. I heard that. I may find out how true that is.

Hey, good luck on your purchase!
