I cant believe there's even any discussion with those cars listed, the GXP and Sky Redline are almost copies of the S just 9 years late getting to market. Similar HP, similar weight dist, similar staggered wheels, similar specs in performance, similar sizes, the only difference is slightly cheaper price for a slightly cheaper quality car. The Z4 3.0 was the same situation except the opposite with build, a little better build quality then the GM ripoffs with a higher price tag to match.

I cant see anyone that's going shopping for a RWD drop top deciding to buy a 4dr AWD car. Or anyone looking at a domestic V8 deciding to go with an import 4 cyl, they just wouldnt be shopping in the same market.
