What's the S2000's top speed?

My best is an indicated 135 with the top down, near sea level (East Texas), warm day. Not exactly ideal conditions. Felt like it would take forever to get there; there was essentially nothing left.
I'm sure everyone's telling the truth about indicated speeds on here (OK, maybe not, but benefit of the doubt to each poster), but some of these numbers don't seem right. All the tests of the S have its top speed well below 160, at least those I've seen. If the Cd is also close to what I've seen, i.e., something like 0.36 top up, 0.42 top down, then top end with the top down would be something like seven percent slower, assuming mechanical drag is a mniority but non-zero component of the total. (Mechanical drag is a linear function of speed, aerodynamic a square function; power requirement (versus force) raises the exponents to three and two, respectively.) If 155 is the max with the top up, it should be somewhere around 145 with the top down, not the numbers some are seeing.
Again, I believe that y'alls speedos said what you say they did, but the speedo error could easily be large. There is no reason that an electronic speedometer can't have a nonlinear error function.
In other words, if you don't have a calibrated speedometer (and not many on here seem to), you don't know what your car can do.

For all this talk of inaccurate speedos, MOTOR magazines Performance Car of the Year test clocked the 2003 S2000 @ 246km/h (153.75mph) with a radar gun, before the braking area of Avalon airstrip. They mentioned how the digital speedometer was "bang on accurate" reflecting that exact same number. Just more to discuss if you wish.
