Bumping this for visibility. I've owned 3 06+ over the last 10 years, put a combined 150k on them and just realized this existed. I've always felt like I have to press the throttle from a stop more in my current car than my previous ones so just did the adjustment, interesting to see how it feels.

I have adjusted many DBW cables and it makes a nice difference in the car. They are quite sloppy from the factory.

Was going to ask the same, hard to measure but mine seemed to be within Honda spec, but still felt very sloppy.

I need to know as well. If Billman thinks they're sloppy from the factory, then using the factory adjustment range ain't it, chief.

Tried this adjustment yesterday. I did not measure the droop of the slack in the cable, but I did adjust out about half of the droop. I made sure that I left some slack in the cable in the closed throttle position.
What I noticed was quicker response when blipping the throttle while idling in neutral. And, a quicker on gas response when completing the 1 -2 shift. As expected, once under power no difference in response since cable slack is already taken up.
