what no control charts? what happened to keeping your process 1 SD from the mfg tolerance center point?
more likely the mfg process is tits (precise), and the design is in question.
so, this problem has been addressed on the 01 MY??????? somehow i don't think so. if it has, then i want an 01 tranny.

Great response Brent, I agree and appreciate the information.
I think Honda has enough racing experience to build a good trans. They produce a lot more than just economy cars.
Is anyone racing the s2k's having severe trany problems? If so has anyone replaced it with somthing better?
My problems with my trans have not been severe. Other than the change in sound of 1st and 2nd. It has grinded about 10 times in the last 7 months, and some of that is probably user error. I drive pretty hard too.
That really sucks about your US car. That's one very small aspect of America that I'm not proud of. All of my cars, trucks and bikes have been asian.
