If you don't have an air compressor shove some rope down the cylinder, heck just having the piston at TDC is enough to get the job done with the bolt on the side spring compressor. Maybe want to pick up a magnet tool.
That quote was just to replace the intake side so 8 retainers and 16 keepers. I will wait till the parts arrive and decide when they get here. I have a compressor but it is those small ones with a gallon of capacity. Is this a one man job? based on the video they had to be two of them when installing the retainers and keepers.

It can be done solo. I did. Look at some other threads. There are tools that you can use SOLO.

Skip to the 12:30 ish mark and check out how fast it can go. You don't need head off. Read up on it. It's not that bad.........just nerve wracking!

Sorry guys I didn’t wanna dig this up but at the same time I didn’t want to start a new thread, as soon as I seen “post it up” on the first page I was sold. Here are my intake valves. Tried comparing to others but I don’t see what I’m looking for

Oh, pray tell what the “cheap” tool is to do the valve retainer change out? I’m looking for one that actually fits, not one that I have to grind down.

I would look into the tool “Speed Academy” used in the S2K valve retainer video. Looks extremely simple so I can’t expect it to fetch for too high of a price but than again I am by no means an expert

None of those pics are useable. They do not show the keepers (you can see one keeper in the last pic, but cannot see their position relative to the inner retainer wall)
