^^THIS!!!^^ I've got an '01 and once I installed my TP & exhaust (Ti-C) there is this annoying rattle that sounds like it's behind the radio on the passenger's side in the middle. It can easily be reproduced @ 1600-1800RPM and then usually over 5k under load. Pulled the radio and didn't see anything loose. Everything under the car is tight as well. Gonna have to check the manifold heat shield and plastic piece on the rear view mirror thing. Silly noises...

That actually reminds me of the time this guy had an oil cap stuck near the firewall somewhere. The rattle sounded like it was in the same area. I guess the previous owner had topped it off and forgot to put the cap back on and it got wedged between the firewall and something else (I forget what exactly ). Ya might check that out.

WTF lol that's crazy. I did just buy the car in December, so who knows man. Once it warms up a bit here (Chicago) I'll really poke around and try to figure it out.

I have a rattle in my driver side door less than a foot from my face. It is soooo annoying. Only hear it when I play music though. I need to pull the door panel and figure out what it is.

My passenger door rattles up high almost in line with the outside handle too. I took the door panel off when I replaced the speakers about a month ago, and couldn't figure out what it was. When I put it back together it rattles in the same place and more now because the speaker isn't blown. At least I don't have to sit by it, but the gf gets a little annoyed lol.

Well, I found my rattle that sounded like it was behind my radio. It was actually my anti-fowler on my test pipe rattling against the car. I had the TP & exhaust on my CR and was using the big elbow one from T1R since I got their test pipe and that came with it. I didn't realize that when I tightened down the spring bolts it moved it just enough that it would rattle on the car. So, my most obnoxious rattle solved (since I caused it in the first place ). Now to figure out what is rattling in my passenger door at some point.
Silly AP1 has rattles all over!

Also, I tightened down the nut on the spare tire (forgot about that since there was none in the CR) and that fixed a random rattle that I was hearing from time-to-time as well.

I have a rattle that I suspect might be the heat shield. How do you tighten it? Do you have to get under the car? Feel stupid asking this but I don't see the bolts - felt around for them, to no avail..

Is it the heat shield for the header? (exhaust manfold) You should be able to reach in and feel a few bolts lower down. The one closest to the firewall is the worst.

So I figured recently that it must be the actual latch for the door because it only rattles when it is shut. Locked or unlocked. I can open my door and blast music and the rattle is non-existent.

You should try the same. I still haven't found exactly what is making the noise yet.

I have the exact same buzz. I'm running an invidia n1 and test pipe. only on acceleration at about 2500-3k rpm is it making the BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. and its driving me insane. I literally have my hand on top of it half the time. I'm not sure if its the wind deflector a loose upper center console... did you happen to find a fix?
