Prolly best to fix that sending unit.

 

My '06 has not been started in a couple of days, so with my fuel pump turned off and just on the starter my oil light went off in 8 sec.
When I did start the car and let it run for a little bit than shut off the fuel pump till the engine died, after a 5 min. wait the oil light went out in less than 2 sec. on the starter only. My S has 116k miles on her. If I thought I had a problem with oil pressure I'd put a real oil pressure gauge on the car.
