Default Question about Maintence light flashing

Well this morning after starting the car I notice the maintence light flashing 3 times than it went away. This never happen before, so it kinda spooked me. Is there something wrong with the car? I just did a oil change like 1000 miles ago. Please any help! Thanks all!

Great thanks Ludedude! So I'm guessing its nothing big. Well I don't have the owners manual, and was wondering I barely reached 13k and was wondering is there any major maintence I need to do. Thanks!

I strongly urge you to get an owner's and maintenance manual for the car. You've probably spent over $20k for a nice car - wouldn't it be helpful to know how to operate and maintain it properly? There are numerous fluid and parts replacement schedules to follow, and you should be the one to know when they occur so that you can keep the car performing properly. Also, some of us elect to perform maintenance and adjustments (e.g. valve adjustments) sooner than recommended. Look at the FAQ in the Technical section of Under the Hood for more details.

As an example of more helpful information that is found in the owner's manual, did you know not to use the spare on the rear axle of the car? Doing so can damage the differential.

Order a manual for your year S2000. Some think it's just a book that tells you how do do dumb stuff like set the clock and adjust your mirrors, but it actually answers alot of the questions posted in this forum and then some. Guaranteed to teach you something new about the car. We have a saying...RTFM

He could/should RTFM indeed, but if he happened to have a trunk full of stuff and a passenger, he would still have had to call someone to carry that wheel home
