It should be noticable faster than a stock one at all RPM's especially up top. If even anyone has driven a stock on and the supercharged one and cant tell the difference then your installer didn't put the belt on or something

 

Everyone talks about going faster but I am sure most of these idiots looking for the biggest power/speed gain for the buck aren't look at what the car will handle like once it has that added horsepower. People in my opinion usually buy more power than they themselves can handle. I'll be near stock horsepower ratings for a little while longer...

Spoons who installed the kit? It shouldn't be running like that. Most probably it could be belt slippage.

The Vortech has been prone to more problems, and hasn't been proven yet to be better...but on paper most people would agree that it should be more efficient.

So, you said you had the kit installed when it first came out...two years ago?
