I was actually able to walk out on to the hockey rink this afternoon for the first time. Finally nice and frozen. Then I stepped out and slipped on the ice outside and landed on my butt.

LOL!! I don't have that kind of luck that would save me a few bucks. Plus those things are in there I was looking at my xrays and was amazed how long the roots are!

I feel bad for the ski areas this year but I'm awfully glad that the precipitation we're getting is rain and not snow or we'd be getting buried.
Man it's pouring.

We started out in some rain up in NJ but the closer to DC we got, the clearer it got. Nice sun out now with a temp of 61. Not gonna last long. High tomorrow will be more like 41.

Crazy weather here it snowed a couple of inches Sat. morning then Sunday we got heavy downpours with thunder and lightning and wind and then it got cold overnight and everything froze but we did lose a majority of the snow that we had which wasn't much.

Doing the happy dance this morning.
Yesterday heating oil futures dropped just below and finished at a buck a gallon.

The wife just ran the numbers against last year and between cheap oil and a mild winter we're down almost $2k vs last year at this time.

Temps in the teens and twenties here. Lots of lake effect snow, but it is happening around us. Nothing significant yet. Can't believe it is mid-January and I haven't needed the snow blower yet.
