Expecting a lot of rain today

 

Today's forecast is for partly cloudy skies and 85 degrees with a 10 knot sea breeze.
Not bad for the 3rd of February.

Given the forecast and amount of rain projected, should I go with the back stroke or crawl this afternoon?

 

Lovely morning here rain is falling which is freezing as soon as it hits the ground. Supposed to warm up as the day progresses and be all rain.

 

Minus 1 F in the four corners this morning.

 

Three days ago our streets had cleared of ice patches from our December 19[sup]th[/sup] snow storm. I was able to ride for two days and now… The snow’s depth had already compressed by two inches when pic was taken.

Just got in from an after work walk with my wife. Balmy 55 degrees here in the Northlands.

 

We were 58° last night which was nice because we had no heat.
The high winds took down the power lines for our area.
So instead of being a critical system in subzero weather it was a minor inconvenience and an excuse to go to bed early.

 

Looks like we may dodge the big one coming tomorrow. I hope so!!
