The Vintage Weather Thread
Sometimes I don't really need to water it.
[Actually it's a special St. Augustine hybrid called FloraTam from (developed by) U Florida/Texas A&M) in the 1970s. It's especially hardy and resistant to fungi, grubs, and other pests. And it is a darker shade of green! It is on an automated sprinkler system that is adjusted for different times of year and water conditions. And it was turned off during the heavy raining....]
Thanks for asking.
we've had two kinds of weather, warm and dry, and hot and dry which followed a fairly dry winter.
we've gotten about an inch of rain in the last 2.5 months.
and remember this is an area where a few inches in a single event is not an uncommon event.
well at least I don't have to mow the dead brown stubble in the front yard.

It's going to be above the mid-80's and near 100 for the next couple weeks and humid as well. The wife just asked, do we want to go anywhere this week - my reply, certainly not in the MG!
