We dodged another bullet with the storm off the coast last night, but there are some icy conditions, so gov't and some schools are delayed two hours. Going to be very cold the rest of the week.

Looking like some places are not getting the large amounts forecast, like Philly and NYC. Boston still the hardest hit. We will be seeing windy conditions, but the sun is coming out this afternoon.

We didn't dodge anything last night. They certainly didn't over-hype this one.
My rough guess is we have about 2 feet on the ground now. We also have another 10-18 hours to go before this is over.
Titan wasn't real thrilled with going out to do his business this morning.
Gonna need to fire up the snow blower soon but need some coffee first.

Well, LB doesn't have to worry about going outside. He's in Tampa.

I offered to help Rick clear snow.........we'll see if he takes me up on my offer. Legal Bill left town yesterday on his way to FL. He's a smart guy, that Legal Bill.

Some of the coastal areas are being very hard hit. Marshfield MA homes have been said to have SEVEN FEET of water in their basements. Waves coming into the house!

At this point it is snowing/blowing hard enough that I can't see the end of my driveway ~300 feet away.

Watching the national news tonight they sure made it sound like end of the world is coming with that east coast storm. I hope it doesn't end up being as bad as they predict, but better safe than stranded!
Hey, Murphy, what about us, on the west coast? My day started with a low of 68 degrees Fahrenheit, with gusty Santa Ana winds, and overcast. By 2pm it started to drizzle and kept at it for 5 hours, non stop (!), and then dropped all the way down to the current temp of 55 degrees Fareinheit. Oh my.

I'm really concerned and care about you all in the snow and blizzard areas. I'm just being a putz, here in so Cal. You know me by now.
We will be sure respond in kind with our weather conditions during upcoming SoCal earthquakes, mud slides, droughts, and raging forest fires.

Honestly, I rag my family up north every winter so I guess I shouldn't throw stones.

Good luck to all of you who are impacted by this storm. Hope the sun comes out for you sooner than later. Be safe.
