Yep, it snowed! A foot or more, still snowing and OH so cold! Some pics taken through window, others I braved the elements.
Bear/cat sculpture last night, and today.

Bird buffet - Lots of activity today. They are hungry.

There is a convertible behind me.

It does look cold Lainey.

What's the green thing hanging on the front of the bus?

Not Lainey here.

I don't see anything green hanging on the front of the bus. I see some kind of a red (?) cord hanging down. What is that for?

On the left, I see a person in a fluorescent green jacket shoveling snow.

Doesn't Lainey look cute all bundled up?

Just spent 3 hours with the snowblower in the driveway. Froze my arse off... it's cold out there.
good news is the Ariens Pro28 snow blower I bought two years ago was worth it's weight in gold today.
blasting through 2 feet+ of snow.

I don't see anything green hanging off the front of the bus. I see the cord probably some kind of block heater, and the green thing may the the homeowner's jacket, as he was out there clearing snow.

Thanks, Sue. I think Morris/Dean needs new glasses.

Good Luck to the NewEnglanders. It was a dud here. HYPE and FRENZY, that's it. I think we had a slow snow all night, and maybe 3-4" here in Central NJ.

My company is very cautious. They closed our Central NJ sites (5 of them - probably 7-8000 people total) at 3 PM yesterday and advised people at lunch to be safe, get home and work as best as possible. We have some great technology offerings so many people can do their complete job from the comfort of their couch. At about 9 last night, they closed the sites in the area for today and again - please work from home.

Cindy's not so fortunate. She's on the facilities team and had a 5 AM call where they decided to close her company's office based on the statewide driving ban.

Later this morning the governor removed the statewide driving ban. She got to bake, do some scrap-booking and nap all day I was online all day.
