The good news is we are simply too cold to get much snow.
It's keeping the storm off to the south.

The Boston Red Sox have fled the Boston Winter. The Spring training truck showed up in Ft Myers yesterday. Usually the players don't show up for a little bit yet but it seems they're all here early this year. Lots of hoopla and autograph signing going on.

There was a bad fire in Ipswich, MA today.

Our predicted snow for today has lesser totals coating to 3". We can deal with that. It's snowing now.

I mentioned to Rick how it is so much easier to leave for work when all you do is grab keys to the car, close the door, start the car and go.

Now we're bundling up, making sure we have gloves, boots, etc. Cars need a bit of pre-warming, or snow and ice removal. How many days until spring?

I'm not a baseball fan, but if someone gave me a plane ticket and tickets to go watch the Red Sox at Spring Training, I'd be there!

 

We got about 8". No big deal compared to Boston. Down here people panic if we get more than 3". The gas stations and grocery stores were packed yesterday. Whimps. I plan to do some wheelin in my Jeep on the beach later.

 

Fortunately no new snow here. We hit -9 last night. I need to try and break up the ice dams before I find myself in Bill's shoes. Did have a leaker the other day that will require a little paint repair.
