It's chilly here, and windy. Not great Mardi Gras weather but better than rain or what you poor folks up nawth are putting up with.

Our thoughts are with all of our Vintage friends in the Northeast, but especially those of you in the Boston area who seem to have been so hard hit. Bill, hope the repairs are not too disruptive and that nothing irreplaceable is lost. Lainey, hope you get dug out soon. The rest of you, be careful...but you Yankees are tough and know how to deal with cold and snow. We get an inch down here (about once a decade) and it's the End Times for these people.

Stay warm and dry. Spring will be there soon.

Best part about winters up north? Getting the S2000 out of storage in the spring. It is like getting a new car every year!

After seeing what you guys are putting up with I think I'd rather just get a new car every year.

Emil...that was funny. (Celsius)

Gene, I'm so cold, I think I will not go outside until the temps are above YOUR age, not mine. That will give me a few extra degrees.

No snow and no wind today so I caught up on my shoveling. I shoveled a path through one snow drift that was about an inch taller than me and I'm 6'3. Got heat tape in my condensation pipes at my other building so water is flowing again hopefully tomorrow I can go back to working inside.

Scraped about half of the parking area on my driveway down to pavement again. Hope to do the other half tonight. Made a big improvement on the ice dams by sprinkling calcium chloride over them.

Prediction for -30 windchill again tomorrow.

We are getting a big cold front moving in at rush hour this afternoon - yes, even more cold. With some heavy snow squalls which could make driving a mess. Wind chill tonight and tomorrow between 0 and 10. High of 16 tomorrow. I'm supposed to go over to my mother's house tomorrow to meet with the agent and the fixup guy, but I'm thinking of letting them meet alone.

We are on the hunt for calcium chloride. Got some good ice dams going and maybe rain coming in this weekend. That will make a heck of a mess.

Temps have moderated a bit. 25 degrees feels warm!
