walked the beach in the fog this morning. The water was opalescent. It's 75 here. The sun has burned through.

Spring is coming. I have proof! Red Sox Spring Training Open House and Yard Sale

Found some Calcium Chloride for my ice dams finally. Almost a 30 mile drive from the house, but fortunately near where my wife works. Maybe I can make a dent in the dams before it all melts and floods my house.

Thought we were done with the white stuff, but we are the northern edge of some snow tonight/tomorrow AM. Just enough to make things dicey. Boo...

Just arrived in Naples, Fla. Drove through snow, ice and freezing rain from No. Carolina and most of So. Carolina. I95 was a nightmare. It was 84 when we arrived so the first thing we did was don shorts and flip flops and headed out to a nice Italian restaurant on 5th Ave. We sat at the bar, had numerous drinks and a great pasta dinner. Enjoying a nightcap now and then we are crashing for the night. 6-8 weeks of this

we totally dodged this one... only the slightest trace, a merest whimsy, an insinuation if you will, of easily overlooked and quickly forgotten, snow.

Yep, it's snowing. About two inches predicted, but the timing is lousy - rush hour. So things are closed, opening late. I'm hoping this is the last for the winter.

Ole Miss and Mississippi State are closed for snow today!

Highs in the low 70s next week. COME ON, SPRING!

Our weather is really starting to feel like the movie "Groundhog Day." More snow tonight into tomorrow. 6-7" this time. I believe this one is more my storm than Legal Bill and Jerry's.

I also must take the blame for this. I washed winter off of my kitchen floor yesterday. I did some spring cleaning in the bathroom too.

I guess I tempted the fates or something, trying to think that spring would actually show up here.
