Hate to sound stupid. But how do you connect the other functions? Eg volume ect
It's all on the ISO block so you don't need to worry about those, just remember to connect the pink wire on the HU to the telephone interrupt on the interface.

Like Chesh, I am happy to talk you through it or if you are local to Gatwick, show you how to do it.

Mine work tempermentally now that I've squeezed RCAs etc behind the HU - the mute function seems to fail as the car warms up - running the fan on hot to keep weaker sex happy quickly knocks the mute function out Budgie has the same problem as me.

The picture of the fuse box is in the FAQ IIRC.

You need to increase the length of the "thick" yellow wire by around 30cm and fit a spade connector onto the end.

I normally use a Halfords heat shrink bullet connector to join a bit of wire.

You then plug the spade connector into the permanent live on the fuse box.

The first Alpine head unit I had didn't require this bet the current one I have will not work without it.

Thanks Guys

I'll give it a try first and them see how it goes. BTW I drive past Gatwick most weekends (not this one though) As my other half lives in Brighton.

Cheers

PS - Did anyone actually see the thread that I 1st mention with the pictures of the fuse box?
