Why do you say your VIN indentifies it as a JDM?

 

if you have a jdm, .. there is a load of japanese writing all over the engine bay.. for example, look at the fuse box..or radiator cap

 

I thought it was a JDM because the vin plate matches the one shown on this site as from a JDM.
I have took the advise here and contacted Honda dealer and a very helpful service guy made some calls. He has not given me exact details yet as he's waiting for some info by fax but he says the vin number is to long for a JDM and its more likely to have come from Belgium or similar
I will let you know the outcome just to close this topic off
