Thanks, much appreciated. Good luck with everything. As you gain experience with aggressive fitments you should start a thread and post your results, or add them to an existing aggressive fitments thread if you can find one.

Cheers,
Ken

i will have the following w/ a 1" drop:

18 x 8 +47 215/40/18
18 x 9 +64 245/35/18

are there any benefits of going with 265 vs 255 vs 245? i was planning on getting just new 255's for the rears, but if it fits 265's, why not? or just should i?

for the fronts, i wanted to get 225/40/18. according to this guide it does not fit. is anyone else able to run this w/o rubbing?

I can tell you my 18x7.5 +50 with 225 up front caught my fender a little and gave me a mini roll. Granted I am lowered, but my camber is near 1*. At stock height it might rub, so I would say stick with a 215. Anything more than 255 in the rear is overkill imho. Get a good grippy tire and you'll be set. Tire compound > tire size.

I'm guessing by the offset and rim size alone this is going to rub?

Front Wheel Size: 19x8.5, offset is 43mm 225/40R19
Rear Wheel Size: 19x9, offset is 45mm 245/40R19

I can't speak for lowered cars. I wrote the info in the first post based on cars at normal height.

Let me copy the data here from the first post:

For the front:
205 tires: +43 offset minimum (6.5

Hey guys, noobie question, but it seems these specs wont fit stock suspension.. but they're off by a little bit.. so could spacers help this? what downsides do spacers have? orrr... what other recommendations could you pros give me? thanks!!

18" x 8.5" +48 (front) off 10mm?
18" x 9.5" +45 (rear) off 5mm?

Jav, you need to tell us what tires you plan to use. The wheel width is chosen to fit the tire you desire.

With a 48 offset in the front you can run a 215. With a 45 offset in the rear you can run a 245. Any wider than that and you risk rubbing.

The 8.5 and 9.5 inch wheels will work fine, but the tires will be a bit stretched.

Regards,
Ken
