S2000 enthusiasts and speculators alike are chomping at the bit to buy this pristine AP1 S2000.

We are big fans of BringATrailer.com, one of the Internet’s best resources for interesting automotive auctions, right behind RacingJunk.com, of course. Part of the reason we like BaT so much, beyond the window shopping, is that it offers an insider look at the well-to-do enthusiast buyers market. That, and it seems like S2000s pop up on the site pretty frequently, especially the low-mileage, or rarer models. So, it’s a handy site  to watch, whether you’re a prospective buyer, or a hopeful seller.

That brings us to this minty AP1 for sale on the site. With a clean and clear CarFax, and just 8,000 miles on the odometer, this is a highly desirable example. Though, the color pairing makes it slightly less so. Silverstone on black is one of the most common combos for the S2000, though it’s all in great shape. However, a few minor scrapes on the rear bumper are a small blemish that comes with buying a used car. That said, all of the panels and paintwork are original, with VIN tags included. In fact, the only non-original part on the car is the soft top, which was replaced due to old age with another OEM unit.

The car seems to photograph beautifully. The seller claims that the car was garaged for it’s entire life, and seldom driven…Obviously.

The auction still has two days left to go at the time of this writing. We will be watching this one come Wednesday afternoon to see what goes down. With the current highest bid already at $20,000, we foresee this one easily cresting the $30,000 mark. Stay tuned…
