Both owners of this S2000 CR have been S2KI forum members so let’s keep this one in the family and find owner #3.

Although we cannot handle any more cars in our garage, projects or otherwise, we do love to peruse the Cars for Sale section on the forums.

And, of course, any time a Club Racer pops up, we can’t help but notice. So, when we found S2KI user SimonDB‘s listing for his 2008 Berlina Black example, we just had to talk about it.

First, let’s go over the basics about the car as per the ad:

  • Mileage: 33,400
  • Clean title, no accidents listed on car fax
  • 100% stock, never modded (to my knowledge)
  • All VINs present
  • Purchased last year from S2Ki member
  • Always garaged
  • Serviced this year – all fluids changed Ocean Honda – San Juan Capistrano
  • Excellent paint although some very small blemishes chip marks
  • Excellent interior
  • OEM Hard Top included
  • OEM Hard Top Stand included
  • Black/yellow ‘S2QQQCR’ California plate included (see photos)

Indeed, by all accounts, this is a truly clean example. Though, it seems that, in general, S2000 CR models tend to be better cared for than most. That engine bay is actually clean enough to be eaten off, but, please, mind the crumbs, won’t you?

Of course, this cleanliness comes at a price. Located in Southern California, our seller is asking a hefty $36,000 for this CR. Now this is where things can go sideways. In California, this seems like a fair, and going price for a clean CR, however, our friends in the Midwest, or the South may find the price high, for example.

However, irrespective of price, this is a perfect example of a CR that needs nothing other than a new owner, who is ready to get in and drive it. So, S2KI, let’s keep it in the family, yeah?
