Honda e
No space in the garages.
It's an Andersen A2 with the optional 8.5m tethered cable - so that I don't have to move cars around if the E is not next to the charger.
The cable wraps around and stores inside the charger - no wet cables in the boot of your car or laying on the ground looking like an unsightly mess...

@chris111 thanks. Food for thought. I am inclined to put it in the garage for security. I like the coiled up tethered cable and agree that is the way to go.
Also I am looking for a time switch to control charging as I am on a 48-point wholesale market tracking tariff and may want to restrict overnight charging to the cheapest half hour periods. My sparks did me one for the GSHP which draws a humongous current i.e. close to 30 amp as will the EV charger circuit. Yes I know you can get app controlled chargers but my philosophy is that anything that is part of the house should be independently controlled. Telling whoever I sell the house to get a certain app (which may no longer be available) doesn't sound too clever.

put cctv near it

interesting looking at the petrol platforms charging, a merc had parked front in, lead trailing all round to the port where a petrol cap might once have lived.. i hate trailing cables
Quite the cables are >£100 but surely if you're parking outside you would go for a 'tethered' charger i.e. with integral cable?
Been reading stuff about V2G and I'm finding very little about how you might get paid for the '2G' (to grid). Won't happen very soon I think.
My desire remains to be able to choose/automate when the EV is charged. A simple question but not one I can find an answer to easily. Quite a few come with smart phone app control which lets you turn charging on and off. I want that to happen setting times in advance and not have to stay awake all hours. I don't see much advantage in a so called smart app just to be a bedside on/off switch.

Not really looked into it at all but you want a charger which will suit another car should you change I guess
I have a ctek on the S2 on the drive so not concerned about anything really as that has been the case for a while. I have an external socket to fit for that but it's on a long backlog

If the cable is plugged into the E, it's locked into place and you cannot remove it without having the key on you - that might stop your average passing chancer from nicking your cable.
Food for thought

Chris.
