Solar power not in the north or even here. Today my ten south facing roof panels each 1000mm x 450mm will generate if the sun keeps shining 4kWh.
Both they and the EV need a step function in efficiency so defo not in my lifetime but maybe in yours @Nottm_S2 @s2k4tony
Street charging is something Honda is trialling I believe. At least it is being consistent with their 'city car' mantra
Drag is the issue at m-way speeds with their cute retro ish shape. Ours will be a Norfolk car.
Fossil fleet as per avatar will stay for distance stuff, lockdown permitting.
Toyed with hybrid self charging but they're big fugly beasts.
More appropriate for families ...

Trendier than the Jizz, Grandpa can really dance now. If you get my 'drift'
Working from home ethos is growing making leccy cars a bit of a chance investment. It's certainly going to be a dent in sales.
indeed.. the mileage on my stuff will be embarassing this year as the two cars share the school run and anywhere i go with just one. i work from my garage loft
the bikes dont really move at all
by contrast the Qashqai did 8.2k (S2 NA did 400 and SC one i guess 1500 as i use that more - will confirm when it goes for MOT next week

Not sure about the turbo but all these previous model Foresters can easily have LPG added. Tank in boot replacing full sized spare wheel. Uber economical.
Your other half might not be happy driving something so bling. The classic flat four AWD engine-drive train shared with the Impreza.
Bullet proof car. Minor gripe foot room in rear and ride too much roll for some maybe this has beefed up.
Nice high boot floor the pooch will have a super room with a view

That is hideous Rog
Would be older, lower tax stuff for me
apparently it's not selling.. no surprise I guess but sad

Anyone buying a Zoe needs a labotomy imo

There's no real need to run down the battery, though - Lions don't really suffer the 'memory effect' like Niamh used to. She remembered everything...
I think the batteries are good for quite a long life now aren't they? The Tesla I linked above did a lot of miles and I'll never do that.
As ever when you're looking for a car I get diverted.. the Yaris GR is amusing but probably not family friendly.. at the same price as this you get a 3 cyl turbo, 260+ bhp, 4wd and it's light. But the insta torque of electric and low slung weight makes the e feel agile and a lot lighter than its c1500kg
I will wait into the new year, see how the vaccine plays out. Grit my teeth when I get in the kumkwat. Not driven it in months so there is a positive.
Enjoying the twattery of looking at alternatives. Various old Jap vans which would take a dog and a bike
.. T5s..

Good work by Carrie the puppet mistress. Bojo's pronouncement of no new ICE'd cars from 2030 musta improved my residuals.
Still awaiting the new appointment of Dildo as queen of the charge point construction initiative.
Her backup knowledge of point to point will stand her in good stead.
It won't compensate for lack of brain power however.
Horse power experience helps though

I was pointed to a recent tweet from Bjorn Lomborg remining us that 13 years ago, the Gov't claimed the UK'd all be wind-powered by now. That went as well as predicted...
Whatever the Gov't (aka Princess Nut Nuts) says, believe the opposite.
