Also bigger than the Honda. I'm no fan of them, but they are probably the best EV a mostly bad bunch! I expect the Porsche is good but it's "quite" expensive

I expect they offer better customer service should something go wrong.

It might save Porsche not having to make an engine themselves

Indeed, i still remember my dealings with HondaScare, the used car warranty that is sod all like a new car warranty. Should I ever buy another Honda from a dealer, i'll go to one of the 3rd party companies for a warranty. I'd rather crap on my hands and clap than deal with them ever again.

never had to claim on a warranty but LGs one, despite knowing it was coming, was a biggy

i now have 2 very old Hondas, 21 and 19 respectively and keep finding myself browsing classifieds for a dog carrier.. the e does appeal

my requirements are

low tax
low fuel consumption
4 seats
can carry bikes on the outside
decent ride / comfy
climate
carries dog/s
reliable

i'd like
no petrol station visits
no gears/auto
super simple mechanically, i dont want to run something that costs a fortune to run and breaks (think M3)

i have looked at all sorts of old jap stuff, forester wagons, ctrs, accords of various flavours.

i cant find anything i fancy but maybe i should just punt on something and see. it will live outside though i might sell the NA S2 so the boosted one can live in the garage.. or just keep two? haha. idle pondering for now as this winter i will just think

maybe i should just buy this

That rules it out ... buy black the sexually transmitted infection above, it will be more fun and cost you less in depreciation.

I've been looking at V6 Alphards / Elgrands with the Auto box and 4x4. Screw the mpg, remove all the rear seats and just cruise around 2 up in comfort.

Er back on topic one thing I like about the Honda 'e' is not having any side projections. The slightly sticky out wheel arches (think S) and the rear view cameras are equal.

So losing a wing mirror - happened in my last M3 as well as the moho - is less likely. That said I bet the camera pod wouldn't be cheap ...

Battery currently sitting on 50% I am just waiting for a sub 6p/unit early morning. Need wind

Part of me wonders what battery life / ghost charge will be like Rog - whether it will suffer unless you fully use the battery all the time?

Yes I am really wanting to go down to 20%. They recommend keeping an EV at 20% to 80%. Not sure discharging right down is advisable but no doubt Nick will know
