So at some point I need to check if Go is a better tariff
the base price is higher for most of this. I have the data now and I would recommend a gas cooker but no doubt they'll be banned soon?
Looks pretty but they are half hour periods summed up so not sharp enough to catch a toaster, kettle or anything really accurately. My smart meter is the previous version only mono and it too is indicative at best. You can see the peak period 4-7pm roughly corroborated. My app that comes with the house battery controller is much better with a vector graphics chart that shows solar PV (green) battery (blue) consumption (orange) and grid (red) e.g. today so far
Today an email from Anglia Water - they will be installing a smart meter soon. No option. Compulsory.
Bast
my graph is granular enough for me as it shows consumption in 30 min chunks
go is slightly more for the day then loads cheaper at night. I am monitoring my car use for 1 month till mid June
feckin geek
Nah not a geek more anal(ysis) paral(ysis). There is lots of stuff on historical/current rates out there. Your situation is different from mine (!) with no house battery/PV/heat pump and probably a higher EV mileage than my 2000 miles/year. My guess at your situation is the 'Go' tariff is the only option for you to look at as 'Agile' has been largely shit for months very few cheap wee small hours opportunities and with the prices high 4-7pm not for you. My house battery stack gets me through that period (along with switching the heat pump off on a time switch).
I am curious about the 'Go' tariff and will be analyzing it from a different viewpoint. If the wholesale market prices that 'Agile' tracks don't offer any low price economy 7 power in future I might switch to 'Go' to charge up my house batteries on the cheap too. But they are only 9.6kWh. What I really need is a way to connect up the 'e' battery to discharge into my house supply If you are on 'Go' do they have the right to vary the main rate at will?
Meanwhile heads up for Wheeler Dealers 6pm tonight on Quest TV the 1970s Honda Civic CVCC restore. This is the car they paid homage to with the 'e' styling.
We have done about 2.5k in it so far but had it since mid Jan so not a lot of use. We were in lockdown for the most of it tbf
I expect say 20-40kw per week in a normal world
c33kw in the last week but it's pretty full right now so maybe we are at that mid point?
20kw at 15p is £3 a week30kw is £4.5
40kw is £6
Go offers me 4hrs a night, more than enough, to cut that cost to 5p/KW
So best case it cuts £6 a week to £2 or £24/month to £8
But the daytime stuff is more £.. I will run the numbers. I would like to be smash 5p per kw, 3.5miles/KW
because it's over 400mpge
You're missing the point. This is about getting max MPGE numbers whilst enjoying the drive I hasten to add
I get free juice at local M&S but only 7kw an hour so I get paid a £1 an HR to park there

but family trans.. having said that a school dad asked about the M3.. i dont miss that. The noise i spose i miss. But this is way nicer to drive 3 + dog up
if you said on paper, 414hp v8 vs 150hp motor i never would have said kw ftw
but horses for... i enjoy other, non fam, stuff for the real buzz. This is ease of use, happy trans
