There's no comparison on cost, however - 2 weeks ago I recorded 352 miles from a full tank in my 2006 s2k before the last light properly went out (as you're aware the last 1-4 lights play light bingo due to the fuel sender playing silly beggars with the instrument display as the fuel sloshes around in the narrowing fuel chamber). Thats my record, using 99 Ron. Most of the journey is 50mph to work, as its speed cameras practically all the way to Stockport (was in the office for a month, back WFH now thank Christ!). A very boring weekly drive.
I see that Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a bold looking leccy vehicle, 298 miles range and I suppose mini SUV looking with sharp edges.
Sort of VAG-Seat looking - it's a good effort from Hyundai. They've certainly catching their rivals. £35k-£40k though...

Yeah you are paying for the big battery in essence
I think I would get a hybrid SUV alongside the e rather than full electric. I know if a lot of use is short you can get the plug ins pretty efficient.

My SC S2 gets less range than Rog's e on v power and instead of £4.50 to brim it's £55+

But I'd want it under warranty

Never had even close to that range, NA gets 240 on a run

Oh.. I'm sorry to hear that, I had no idea. I notice the other threads have been closed/deleted - I expect that had something to do with it.
Keeping an eye on these little e's for my pop. I reckon he would swap his Fiat 500 for one if they got a bit cheaper

After the initial dive in prices they have stabilised
I wonder if it's tied to the number of demo cars needed initially

Fine thanks tony. Iffy at times for pedestrians who don't hear it coming and step off into the road!
