Mine is due for a service soon

But service plan

As general transport I am totally smitten. Pisses all over shyte like kumkwats, has loads of gadgetry but it's not intrusive, stuff like warning you of speeding but not beeping, the adaptive cruise with lane assist is great for those specs camera a roads around here and it is very well executed. Used to tailgate but I've set it for further distance now.

I got Spotify for the integration with Android Auto, I'm not sure it warrants it but you can voice control it all if that's your bag
it's rather good at hill starts
The collision avoidance stuff has been reliable too, it starts with a warning then would auto brake but never had to so far
Love how it goes to sleep if you wander off
Deffo the right car for this purpose for me, never feels heavy or close to what it weighs, handles exactly how you want a small, rwd car to...

10/10 from me
dog wants a big boot

edit to say the adaptive cruise with lane is basically perfect for traffic too. it will take you down to a stop and when the traffic moves off ya go
plus.. it doesnt care you're not touching the wheel at these speeds

effortless

i'm finding my clutch leg continues to waste away. cant sit with the clutch down on the SCS2 anymore

I mentioned why not a Yaris Hybrid instead, or, that new self charging one getting plenty of airplay on TV adverts.
I think with all the choice out there, he's likely to give up and stick with his Fiat 500

I really like my e too and have used it quite a bit commuting in and out of town since I started working back in the office 3-days a week.

Not really that obsessive about how cheap it is to run, but really like how cool and good it is to drive.

Wife loves it even more than me and she's got a Porker to tool around in....

Chris.

Wow.. early back to the office. No sign of that for me and I would prefer not to bother tah. In which case the miles will be limited to 6-7k for this I guess. If I do commute it'll be on the Yam.
Its such an appealing little car I think and an absolute peice of cake to drive.
Just booked my service for end of the month.. they won't do much by the sound of it.

I went back at easter, I've been double vaccinated for a long while, one of the benefits of working for the NHS (scientist not medic).

I didn't have to go back, and can do almost all of my work from home, but started to feel like a bit of a tw@t as a lot of my more junior colleagues have to be in.

I can see me spending more of my time at home though in the not too distant future....

I've got an A45S as well as the e for daily driver duties and my commute is only 14 miles.

what about that CTR limited edition?

or is that stashed away? your old CTR must be worth a fortune if you still have it

CTR LE is not exactly stashed away, but I've hardly driven it yet. Will hopefully get a few miles on it before winter sets in.

I still have all of my 'old' Hondas, most of them are pretty special and have ramped up a lot in value but I've still no desire to sell any of them.

I might off load one or two at some point, but then again maybe I won't.

Some of them are defo 'dead man's cars' and for my wife/children to decide what to do with when I'm gone

Chris.

Nice. I'm of the same opinion with my (waaay cheaper) S2000s. Won't sell, my lad can inherit as antiques.

He loves the boosted one anyway. Doesn't yet appreciate the NA original as much
he better not flog em and buy a Tesla

You have to drive 'em, and enjoy. Epic drive in my 06 last night with Baz off here - ringed its neck for about an hour as usual. Even the brakes don't fade and just keep grabbing. Remarkable that our cars just take such abuse with ease, no messing about.
We even had a 70 plate BMW i3 playing at the end of the night - nippy little sods they are. The instant power is very surprising, but it was soon reigned in
